Naples, one of the oldest multi-ethnic cities in the world, a crossroads between East and West, is dotted with a myriad of small eateries, the heirs of the famous thermopolia of the Greco-Roman era, selling many different and tasty delicacies to taste as you walk along while listening to the most beautiful stories of the city’s life.

Located along the city streets of the old town or the monumental area, these food stores offer many exquisite taste of typical Neapolitan cuisine, one of the richest and most varied in the world. 

The food offered, in fact, ranges from land or sea fritters, served in so-called “cuoppi,” to pizzas, taralli, mozzarella, stuffed bread, offal, and even octopus broth. Everything can be accompanied by a drink or good wine and, of course, exquisite desserts that are offered in the most distinctive shapes and flavors. The latter include the famous sfogliatelle, baba, pastiera, snowflakes, almond pastries, and even many ice creams in the most varied flavors. You will be spoiled for choice!

The tour takes about 4 hours and can be done either in the ancient city of Neapolis, where there is a high concentration of churches and beautiful buildings, or in the area of the Spanish Quarters renowned for the contrast between the Renaissance architecture and the famous bassi (houses of poor people).
